Hello!
Welcome to my site. I'm a Astronomer at Caltech/IPAC. My research interests are to understand the star formation process by studying individual star-forming regions (e.g., star clusters) in the local universe. In addition, since star clusters form relationships with the host galaxies in which they inhabit, I also study how the star formation process affects the evolution of galaxies. I am also part of large sky survey designed to find the distances to 10s of thousands of new galaxies in our Local neighborhood. These galaxies will help narrow the search for electromagnetic (EM) counterparts to gravitational wave (GW) events. Please see my research tab for more details.
