Shown below are 3-color pseudo-truecolor images of asteroids. In these images, blue/green/red are mapped from the 3.6/4.5/8 micron IRAC filters. These asteroids were found in the XMM-LSS field, which lies at relatively low ecliptic latitude and hence close to the plane of the solar system. The asteroids are easily recognized both because they move and because they are extremely red at infrared wavelengths.
